SCHOOL PROGRAM School Supplies per Student Technically, public education is free in Costa Rica. However, the students are required to bring in certain supplies, and to wear uniforms. From a newspaper article published in December of 2007 and passed along by ATEC in Puerto Viejo, here are the requirements for the school year beginning in February, 2008. We have added information and comments at the end of the table. |
