School Program--2009 Who Did You Help Send To School? At the beginning of the 2005 school year, we committed to providing you with names and photos of the kids in the School Program. The count of school kids rose to 31 in 2006, with children in 7 schools. The 2007 school year, with people moving both into and out of the area, showed a count of 25 kids. In 2008, 27. The year 2009 shows 38 Bridge Kids, in the list below. Logistics for fotos--getting to the children or getting them here--are difficult. We have assisted some with less than full support, and for a few, we have less than full information. Since making that commitment, we have grown. In 2011, The Bridge served 81 students, and the full list is too long to be comfortably displayed on this page. So we have left the list the way it was from a previous year. This list will still give you an idea of the spread of ages, grades, and the number of schools we work with. We're doing our best. Thank you for doing yours! |
